On October 3, 2016, Western Interconnect LLC (“WI”) launched their Open Season to allocate remaining transmission capacity on the proposed 1,100 megawatt, 35 miles, 345 kV electric transmission line connecting a new substation in Clovis, New Mexico to the existing Blackwater substation.Learn More
London Economics International LLC (“LEI”) has been selected as the Independent Examiner to design and oversee the Open Season according to FERC-established guidelines and ensure that the process is fair and transparent. This website serves as the portal to provide interested parties with information on the project as well as up-to-date information on the Open Season process.
Interested parties are encouraged to browse this website, consult the Information Memorandum, and other public documents. Furthermore, a virtual information session will be held on October 19, 2016. If throughout the process any party wishes to ask question regarding the project or the Open Season, the online form can be used or the question(s) sent directly to WesternInterconnectfirstname.lastname@example.org. All questions that have been received and answered will be posted in an FAQ document.
